Meenakshi Balu

Hello, My name is Meenakshi Balu. Armed with her MBA, M.L degrees, she ventured into publishing in the year 1997 and printing in the year 2010. She publishes and prints books on stotras, vedas, mantras, poojas, education and has edited more than books with over 500 titles. She has headed GIRI – as Director Publications, Productions HR and Legal from the period 2000 to 2010. Earlier than that she had begun her own publications in the name of MB publishers since 1997 and the same is well known for Sanskrit to English transliteration books and pooja books. Currently, she continues to be - Director in GIRI as – Director Legal, Proprietor of MB Publishers, Super Printing Press , Founder Managing Trustee of MB Charity and Educational Trust, Secretary of WEEGA (Women Empowerment and Employment Generation Association). As for her, More than as a business person, she is a social worker and her aim is to up-skill people with multiple disabilities. She imparted vocational training to school girls, physically challenged and to visually challenged on the art of binding. She is also keen and active in empowering women and imparting them skills so that they take up employment or become proud owners of their business. She had a modern printing unit-cum-training centre (around 6,500 sq. ft.) with all infrastructure facilities in SIDCO Women Industrial Park at Thirumullaivoyal . Her top customers serviced in the area of Printing are GIRI, IOB, SS Industries, Shanker IAS Academy, Dr. N.R. Krishnaswamy, UE Press Tools, etc. She has rented that property & started to run the business near her residence itself. The printing unit-cum-training centre at SIDCO Women Industrial Park at Thirumullaivoyal. She aligned her printing business partnership with A.R Prints at no:2, Valasaravakkam, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. which also houses all facilities like mini offset, Offset, binding, die punch, screen printing, packaging box making, book binding, book stitching, manual case binding, perforation, scoring, lamination services etc . As founder of MB Charity and Educational Trust, they impart students, women different skills in the area Of Tailoring, Art, Craft, Jewellery Making, Screen Printing, courses for children in the area of Abacus ,Vedic Maths, Phonics, Mid Brain Activation, And Quantum Speed Reading, being certified and authorised by IQ International Academy Chennai. Also being a Secretary of a group of women entrepreneurs called WEEGA, On September 4th, 2022 WEEGA gave away Best Women Entrepreneur awards 2021 to 7 members to WEEGA members, The selection of the Entrepreneurs was held at the event conducted at SIDCO Women Industrial Estate on February 18th, 2020.
